As part of our ongoing operations in Ghana, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Shift Boss to join our underground team.<\/p>\n

The Shift Boss will be responsible for supervising underground operations during assigned shifts, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures and statutory mining regulations.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Supervise and coordinate underground mining activities during assigned shifts<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Enforce safety, health, and environmental standards at all times<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ensure compliance with mine plans, procedures, and legal requirements<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Monitor productivity, manpower, and equipment utilization<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Identify, report, and rectify unsafe conditions and practices<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Complete accurate shift reports and conduct effective shift handovers<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Coordinate with engineering, safety, and maintenance teams<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Strong knowledge of underground mining Valid Shift Boss Certificate of Competency or equivalent experience<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Three to five (3-5) years\u2019 working experience in an underground mine<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering<\/p>\n

\u00b7 operations, ground control standards and safety systems<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Proven leadership, supervisory, communication and problem-solving skills<\/p>\n
