As part of our ongoing operations in Ghana, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Mine Captain to join our underground operations team.<\/p>\n

Role Summary<\/p>\n

The Mine Captain will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of underground mining activities, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Supervise and coordinate underground mining operations across assigned areas<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ensure work is carried out in accordance with mine plans, schedules, and procedures<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Enforce safety, health, and environmental standards at all times<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Lead, mentor, and manage underground crews to achieve production targets<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Monitor productivity, manpower, equipment utilization and operational performance.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Coordinate with engineering, geology, ventilation, and maintenance departments.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ensure accurate reporting of production, safety, and operational metrics.<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Extensive mining experience in underground operations.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Valid Mine Captain Certificate of Competency<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Minimum of five (5) years\u2019 experience in underground mining operations<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Strong knowledge of underground mining methods, safety systems, and regulations<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Proven leadership, supervisory, and communication skills<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ability to manage multiple work areas and teams under pressure.<\/p>\n
